We at Chetek Alliance Church are becoming a people where an emphasis is given to provide a balance between:

Freedom in Christ, where all believers are children of and joint heirs with Christ, redeemed, brand new creatures in Christ- fit for heaven. We therefore live not by external legalistic rules and codes of behavior, but by the Spirit's control, which produces hearts that worship Jesus.

Grace, where people can learn to be open and honest with one another, knowing that all are accepted, loved and forgiven within the Body of Christ, based on the sacrifice of Jesus alone and not by any performance that we can do.

Spirit Life, where living by the Spirit is not acquired by manipulating behavior but is a natural result of God's life pouring through believers, energizing them for service and the receiving of His gifts. Prayer is also the result of the Spirit life as we desire to be in communication with God.

Our Sunday service is centered on praise and worship and the giving of the Word. Our worship is focused on ascribing worth to God and is done through contemporary songs, mixed with hymns, by the leading of a worship team. The Word of God is taken very seriously here. Clear teaching of Scripture is a high priority as we believe that in God's Word there is life and truth, and the truth will set people free.

We seek to provide an environment where people are constantly reaffirmed that acceptance comes through grace and not through personal striving, where it is also alright to come and rest and be restored and re-equipped for ministry as the Spirit leads. We also allow for the freedom for people to make mistakes as we become transparent with each other, knowing that in Christ all are acceptable and adequate to serve Him.
